A Digital Boardgame with an ascii aesthetic

Take on the role of a Starship Captain in the far-distant future of GRIST. Recruit a crew of scientists, mechanics, and mercenaries and explore the worlds of Grist from the crumbling ruins of long-dead civilisations and gleaming space habitats of hub worlds, to burgeoning megacities riddled with an all-corruping cybernetic plague. Send your crew out on perilous missions to recover ancient artifacts or steal cutting-edge weapons tech - and when inevitably some of them fall, recycle their remains into the ultimate currency of this universe, the stuff that brings life and holds the plague at bay - into Grist.

Grist is a digital boardgame that ships with a number of different scenarios, all taking place in the same universe. Like a collection of short stories, each scenario not only delves deeper into the world of Grist, but offers new ways to play with new rules, new cards and classes, and new goals. Initially Grist will ship with 2-3 scenarios, with more to be added over time.

Grist is  currently planned for Early Access release in 2023.
